Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Labelisk (the “Service”), available at labelisk.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Labelisk reads label formats written in the Paxar PCL language, used by SNAP-compatible label printers, and renders them as images, through a web viewer and an HTTP API. Labelisk is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Avery Dennison, Paxar or any printer manufacturer. Product and company names are used only to describe compatibility.

2. Accounts

You need an account to store logos and fonts and to use API keys. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration data, for keeping your password and API keys confidential, and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe a key has leaked; you can revoke keys at any time on your profile page.

Accounts are for a single customer, which may be a company. Do not share a key with third parties outside your organisation, and do not resell access to the API as if it were your own service.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, or to upload content you have no right to use — including fonts and logos covered by licences that do not allow it. Do not try to overload, probe or circumvent the Service, its limits or its security, and do not use it to produce labels that impersonate another company or that carry false information about a product.

We may suspend an account that puts the Service, other customers or us at risk, and we will say why when we do.

4. Plans, payment and refunds

The viewer is free. The API is offered on a free plan with daily and monthly allowances and on paid plans, with the prices and limits shown on the site. Paid plans renew automatically every month until cancelled.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller of record for your purchase. Their terms and tax rules apply to the transaction; taxes are calculated and charged by them according to your location. Invoices and payment methods are managed through the customer portal linked on your profile page.

You can cancel at any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We do not charge a cancellation fee. If the Service does not work as described and we cannot fix it, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund that period.

We may change prices or the limits of a plan. Changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email, and they apply from the following renewal.

5. Your content

The label formats you send are processed in memory to produce the image and are not stored on our servers. The logos and fonts you upload are stored in your account so that renders can use them, and are deleted when you delete them or close your account.

You keep all rights to your content. You grant us only the permission needed to run the Service: to process, render and store it for that purpose.

6. Availability and accuracy

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, failures and third-party outages happen.

The render is a proof, not a printed label. Fonts, barcodes and geometry are reproduced as faithfully as we can, and the viewer reports what it cannot confirm, but differences from the physical print are possible — particularly when the printer uses fonts or symbologies that are not loaded in your account. Always confirm a label on the printer before production.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or losses arising from labels printed, discarded or rejected based on a proof. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately in case of a serious breach of these terms. When an account is closed, its logos, fonts and keys are deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.

10. Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably go to the courts of the city where the Service is operated, unless consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
